And currently 60 Minutes is under attack for airing this report on the effects of the Israeli occupation on Palestinians. They're being flooded with furious emails from major Jewish and right-wing Christian groups. You can help push back and defend honest journalism. Watch the video and sign the petition at http://ThankYou60Minutes.org

Gerri, Steve and all:
Thanks again for all the connections and the writing about it, Gerri. Steve G., I know you knocked them upside their heads(and hearts) with your toxics lecture. Bravo for your Arabic-translated poster on the details and history of Toxics-the stuff our societies use up and then dump in other places.

Bob H, always great pictures. Gerri, flawless political reporting with heart.

I'm so proud of you guys. Keep on Kicken'.

See you all home soon,

This is a remarkable segment of 60 Minutes. Be sure to watch the very end, the interview with the Israeli Ambassador (I think that's what his title is) who was complaining about the piece BEFORE it was aired!

I share Tom's thoughts: that your postings, especially the heart-wrenching stories of the women in Gaza you worked with -- and also the details you provide about water allocation and scarcity -- are useful and very moving.

I too look forward to seeing you and hearing more on your return. Safe travels. With love, Bert

Gerri and Bob Haynes are doing wonderful work, bringing some sense to the people of Gaza that the rest of the world has not forgotten them. I am exceedingly grateful to them, and to all the other members of the delegation, for representing us all in such a positive way. I thank you all.

I heard Dr. Abuleish when he apoke at Town Hall here in Seattle. At the time I understood that he was living and working in Canada. Has he moved back to Gaza now? If so, did you get to meet with him? I think everyone who heard him in Seattle was deeply impressed. I certainly was.

Thank you, Bert, for your steadfast commitment to a compassionate global community. I am glad for you that the US Government has relented in its misguided prosecution of your humanitarian relief to the people of Iraq. May you take a well-deserved respite as you develop your next experiment in truth. Perhaps we will see each other at Ground Zero on May 12th for the vigil to abolish nuclear weapons.
Salaam Shalom, Dave
